More Carnival

More Carnival -  it'll make you sorry if you missed it!  ;)

We had "Hattie the Hottie :), the incredible fire eater

 and a bearded lady!  What more could you ask for?

Oh!  You would ask for a snake and absolutely adorable miniature horse/unicorn?  We had those, too :).

 The kids on the steps for the finale.  Boy, those two in the Nutcracker and Carnival shirts are especially precious ;).

I thought their nicknames were Rosy Posy, Kelse, Keegy Weegy, and Keegs.  Silly me :).

 The teacher told the class that they didn't have to make a house - they could be creative - so Keegan created a gingerbread aquarium!  See her green fish on top and the yellow one on the side?

And here is Keegan with her jellyfish.
Those are marshmallow and chocolate penguins on the side.  One is injured as a little friend took a bite out of it, haha.

Nutcracker

Keegan and Caitlyn recently had the opportunity to participate in a school performance of The Nutcracker.  After the teacher resolved a potential costume disaster for Keegan (THANK YOU), it was a ton of fun.

 In the pictures, all of Caitlyn's costumes look exactly the same, but in reality, they are different.  This is still snow, though :).

Keegan got to be in the Chinese dance!  In the regular performance, she will be a mouse, but this day she got the opportunity to play a different role. It was really neat - the boy squatting in front tossed the umbrella over his shoulder and Keegan caught it!

 At the end of the dance, the two smaller girls made "wheels" with their umbrellas and they all drove off stage :)

A couple more Carnival

Keegan with Forrest, the boa, and his handler.  Several folks had reservations about Forrest, but not Keegan.  She waited eagerly for her opportunity to pet him and was thrilled when a friend of ours took this picture (thanks Mary Elizabeth :).

A friend in the wings took this great picture (thanks, Suzanne!)  This part of the dance was toward the back of the stage, and I never got a good picture of it. 

Then my friend sent me this awesome shot of Caitlyn mid-jump - yea :)!!

And last, but not least...

Caitlyn was super excited to get to try the aerial silks, which were part of the show.

She looked pretty good, too!

The show ended this weekend :'(, but it was a super experience.

I am so thankful my girls got to be part of it.

And thank you to (and thankful for) our wonderful friends who came out to support them.
